Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and No Glyph Studio (“Hone,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Hone iOS app and related services (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Your account

You can use core features without an account. Signing in with Apple or Google lets you back up and sync your data. You are responsible for maintaining access to the sign-in method you use and for activity under your account.

3. Your content

Your photos and entries are yours. We do not claim ownership of them. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content back to you solely to operate the App — for example, to sync your data, build your comparisons and streaks, and, only when you request it, to generate AI analysis. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to use any photos you add, including photos that show other people.

4. Hone Pro subscriptions

The App is free to download and use. Hone Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks time-lapse export and AI analysis. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and managed with RevenueCat.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Settings › Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region and may change; any change applies to future billing periods. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

5. AI analysis is not medical advice

The AI analysis feature returns a physique score and a visual body-fat estimate. These are informational visual estimates generated from a single photo. They are not medical measurements, diagnoses, or health, fitness, or nutritional advice, and they may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for any health decision. Consult a qualified professional for medical or fitness guidance.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• upload content you do not have the right to use, or that depicts others without their consent;
• upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
• use the App in violation of any applicable law.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data backup will never fail. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of photos you want to preserve.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hone will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the App unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and No Glyph Studio, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

11. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms. When we change these Terms, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law grants you rights in your own country or region of residence.
